A new large-scale music festival titled Starlight is set to take place at the Pyramids of Giza from October 8th to 11th as part of EXIT Festival’s 2026 global expansion tour.
The event is being presented through a partnership between the internationally renowned Serbian festival EXIT and Egypt’s electronic music platform PLUS, bringing a four-day music experience to one of the world’s most iconic historical landmarks.
According to organisers, Starlight will focus on electronic music performances and immersive live experiences staged against the backdrop of the Giza Pyramids and the surrounding desert landscape.
The festival is being produced in collaboration with Venture Lifestyle’s PLUS platform, which previously organised several major international electronic music events in Egypt featuring artists such as Solomun, Peggy Gou, Carl Cox, and Anyma.
Officials described the Egypt edition as one of the key destinations on EXIT’s expanding international tour, which now includes events across Croatia, Malta, Macedonia, India, Serbia, and Egypt.
The launch reflects Egypt’s growing presence within the global live entertainment and electronic music scene, particularly through large-scale events hosted at historic and cultural landmarks.
Organisers stated that Starlight aims to combine music, visual production, and destination experiences while positioning Egypt as a major regional hub for international entertainment events.
The festival is expected to attract both local and international audiences as interest in Egypt’s electronic music scene and destination festivals continues to grow.
