Andres iniesta’s Global Football Academy Officially Launches in Egypt

Spanish football legend Andrés Iniesta has officially launched his global football academy in Egypt, marking the academy’s first expansion into Africa.

The initiative aims to support the development of young football talent through a training system inspired by the philosophy and playing style that defined Iniesta’s career at both club and international level.

Known for its focus on technical development, creativity, discipline, and teamwork, the academy introduces a training model designed to combine football education with personal development for young athletes.

The Egypt launch is being carried out in partnership with Stamina Sports and Fitness, with officials describing the project as part of broader efforts to strengthen youth football development and create pathways connecting local talent to international football opportunities.

According to organisers, the academy will provide specialised training programmes, coaching development, and football education built around modern international standards used within elite football systems.

Iniesta is widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders in football history, having achieved major success with FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team, including winning the FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championship titles.

The launch reflects Egypt’s growing investment in sports infrastructure and youth development programmes, particularly within football, which remains the country’s most popular sport.

Officials stated that the academy aims to help nurture future generations of players while giving young Egyptian athletes access to professional-level training methods and international football expertise.
