February 7 — Luxor received Tiffany Trump, the daughter of US President Donald Trump, on Saturday as she visited several of Egypt’s most important archaeological landmarks alongside her husband, businessman Michael Boulos.
The couple arrived in the southern Egyptian city on Friday, February 6, and began their sightseeing tour the next morning, according to Dr. Mahmoud Moussa, Director of Qurna Antiquities, who spoke to Nogoum FM.
Their itinerary started on Luxor’s West Bank with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, where they explored several royal burial sites, including the tomb of King Tutankhamun. The tour continued to the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, one of the most prominent monuments of ancient Egypt. They also visited the tomb of Queen Nefertari, which is renowned for its exceptionally well-preserved wall paintings.
The tour concluded on Luxor’s East Bank at the Karnak Temple complex. Dr. Abdel Khaleq Abdel Hamid Helmy, Director General of Karnak Antiquities, said Tiffany Trump expressed admiration for the scale and architectural significance of the site. He noted that she showed particular interest in learning about how the temple was constructed, including the methods used to transport the enormous stone blocks and the engineering efforts behind its development. Although the visit was initially planned to be short, it was extended due to her strong interest in the historic location.
Before departing Luxor, Tiffany Trump said she hoped to visit the city again in the future, reflecting the lasting impression its historical and cultural heritage leaves on visitors.
Tiffany Trump is the youngest daughter of US President Donald Trump and his second wife, Marla Maples. She graduated from Georgetown Law School in 2020 and is married to Michael Boulos, an American businessman of Lebanese origin whose family has business operations in Nigeria.
