Egyptian rapper Marwan Moussa is set to premiere his latest music video, Watha2egy, through a special cinematic screening event at Cairo’s Zawya Cinema on May 24th and 25th.
The event will feature multiple screenings across both nights, giving audiences the opportunity to experience the project on the big screen alongside exclusive behind-the-scenes content documenting the production process behind the song and music video.
According to organisers, the screenings will run from 7 PM until 11 PM each night, with strict restrictions on mobile phone usage and recording devices to preserve the cinematic viewing experience.
In addition to the music video premiere, attendees will also watch short documentary-style films exploring the creative process behind Watha2egy, including production details and footage from the making of the project.
The release marks Marwan Moussa’s first solo music project since his 2025 album Matador, which received significant attention across streaming platforms and Egypt’s rap scene.
The rapper also recently appeared on the track KEDA from Moroccan artist Inkonnu’s latest album SPLIT, continuing his collaborations across the regional hip-hop scene.
Known for blending cinematic visuals with experimental production styles, Marwan Moussa remains one of the leading figures shaping Egypt’s modern rap movement, with projects that continue to expand beyond traditional music releases into visual and immersive experiences.
