Reham Haggag Honored by “Nader w Ader” Campaign for Raising Awareness on rare Diseases

Cairo — March 9: The Ministry of Health and Population has honored Egyptian actress Riham Haggag for her role in the Ramadan drama Tawabea, recognizing the series for its contribution to raising public awareness about social issues, including rare diseases.

The recognition came as part of the “Nader w Ader” campaign, an initiative focused on increasing awareness about rare diseases and encouraging public discussion around health-related topics.

Haggag shared a video of the moment she received the honor, describing the recognition as both a privilege and a responsibility. She said she was pleased that the message of Tawabea resonated with audiences and helped highlight issues relevant to many Egyptian families.

The actress also expressed gratitude to Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar for the recognition, emphasizing that art plays a role beyond entertainment by serving as a platform to raise awareness and promote positive change in society.

Tawabea, which airs during the first half of Ramadan, follows the story of a psychology-focused influencer who becomes involved in a murder case. As the storyline develops, the drama explores themes related to digital identity, social influence, and human relationships.
