Red Bull Drop Pistachio & Berries as Its New 2026 Winter Edition

Red Bull is taking an unexpected approach to its seasonal lineup with Pistachio & Berries, the brand’s new Winter Edition for 2026.

The limited-edition energy drink combines pistachio and berry flavors with hints of caramel and creamy, nutty notes, creating one of the more unusual flavor combinations Red Bull has introduced in recent years.

The new Winter Edition is beginning to roll out across selected European markets in both regular and sugar-free versions, packaged in Red Bull’s familiar 250 ml cans.

What Does Red Bull Pistachio & Berries Taste Like?

According to Red Bull Finland, the flavor combines the richness of pistachio with refreshing berry notes.

The profile is rounded out by caramel, creamy and nutty flavors, creating a fuller taste than the fruit-focused combinations normally associated with energy drinks.

Pistachio has become increasingly prominent across desserts, chocolate, coffee and other food trends in recent years, but remains far less common in carbonated energy drinks.

That unusual combination appears to be exactly what Red Bull is leaning into with its Winter Edition.

Regular and Sugar-Free Versions Are Available

The 2026 Winter Edition is being produced in two forms:

  • Red Bull Winter Edition Pistachio & Berries
  • Red Bull Winter Edition Pistachio & Berries Sugarfree

Both versions are being offered in 250 ml cans in confirmed European markets.

German retailer REWE has also listed the sugar-free edition, confirming that the product contains the same familiar Red Bull base ingredients including caffeine, taurine and B vitamins, alongside the new flavoring.

When Is Red Bull Pistachio & Berries Available?

Availability differs depending on the market.

Red Bull Finland confirmed that the regular Pistachio & Berries edition became available there from September 8, 2026, across grocery stores, restaurants and cafés.

The sugar-free version is being distributed more selectively in Finland through R-kioski locations.

In Germany, distributor Lekkerland announced the new flavor on September 11 and said both the standard and sugar-free editions would become available through its distribution network for the winter season.

Other German retailers and wholesalers have also begun listing the product for September availability.

Is Pistachio & Berries Coming to Egypt?

For Egyptian Red Bull fans, that part remains unclear.

As of now, the official Red Bull Egypt Editions page does not list Pistachio & Berries among its available flavors.

The Egyptian lineup currently highlights other editions, including the seasonal White Peach Summer Edition, but there has been no official local announcement confirming when — or whether — Pistachio & Berries will reach Egyptian stores.

So while images and videos of the green can may already be appearing online, an official Egypt launch should not be assumed until Red Bull Egypt confirms it.

Why Is It Called the Winter Edition?

Red Bull regularly introduces limited seasonal flavors under its Editions lineup.

The company describes these seasonal products as temporary releases available for a limited period, alongside permanent flavors in the wider Red Bull Editions range.

Winter Editions have previously focused on flavors associated with colder months, while Summer Editions tend to lean toward lighter and more fruit-forward combinations.

For 2026, Pistachio & Berries gives the winter release a richer profile, combining fruit with a flavor more commonly associated with desserts.

The Can Is Getting a Pistachio-Green Look

The flavor is arriving in a distinctive pistachio-green can, helping separate it visually from Red Bull’s other seasonal and permanent Editions.

Red Bull Finland described the design as part of the new product’s winter identity, matching the pistachio-led flavor concept.

That makes the release immediately recognizable on shelves, particularly alongside the brand’s existing blue, red, yellow and seasonal cans.

One of Red Bull’s Most Unexpected Flavors Yet

Red Bull has experimented with combinations ranging from tropical fruit to watermelon, peach, blueberry and vanilla, but pistachio moves the brand into noticeably different territory.

Pairing a nut-inspired flavor with berries and caramel gives the drink a profile closer to a dessert-inspired beverage than a conventional fruit-flavored energy drink.

Whether that turns Pistachio & Berries into the season’s surprise hit will depend on how consumers respond once distribution expands.

Limited Edition — At Least for Now

Like Red Bull’s other Winter Editions, Pistachio & Berries is currently positioned as a seasonal limited-time release rather than a permanent addition to the core lineup.

That does not necessarily mean it can never return or become permanent. Red Bull has previously kept particularly popular seasonal flavors alive under new names or permanent Editions.

For now, however, Pistachio & Berries belongs to the 2026 winter season.

With its unexpected flavor profile, pistachio-green packaging and regular and sugar-free versions, Red Bull Pistachio & Berries may be one of the brand’s most unusual seasonal experiments yet.

Egyptian fans will just have to wait and see whether the Winter Edition officially makes its way here.
