Editor Markos Erian has won the Best Teaser award in the Middle East and North Africa for the third consecutive year at the fifth edition of the Global Entertainment Awards.
Erian received the award for editing the teaser of Assad, directed by Mohamed Diab and shot by cinematographer Ahmed Bashari. The Global Entertainment Awards recently announced its regional winners across a variety of categories covering major films, television series, and games.
This marks the third year in a row that Erian has been recognized by the awards. In 2025, he won the same category for the teaser of Seeking a Way Out for Mr. Rambo, while in 2024 he received the Best Film Trailer award for Hagan.
The Global Entertainment Awards celebrate excellence in the marketing and promotional campaigns behind entertainment projects. Categories span a wide range of creative work, including trailers, teasers, behind-the-scenes content, key art, and social media campaigns.
At the global stage of the competition, Erian’s work competes alongside major international productions, including the teaser for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.
