World Airline Awards Based on Passenger Surveys

The Skytrax World Airline Awards are based on an international passenger satisfaction survey conducted between September 2025 and August 2026.

More than 300 airlines were included in the results, with passengers from over 100 nationalities participating in the survey. Skytrax says airlines do not pay to enter the survey and respondents are not paid or rewarded for taking part.

The awards, which began in 1999, are often referred to as the “Oscars of the aviation industry.”
