Bake Bar x Tehina Is Serving Matcha Foul for Sohour

If you thought foul couldn’t get any more creative, Bake Bar and Tehina might change your mind.

The two spots have teamed up for a Sohour collaboration menu that reimagines one of Egypt’s most iconic staples with a series of unexpected twists. At the center of it all is the foul, served in versions that push the classic dish far beyond tradition — including matcha foul, smoked foul, and even foul meatballs.

Ta’ameya also gets a bold upgrade on the menu. Guests can try hot honey ta’ameya or Nashville fried ta’ameya, giving the familiar falafel a spicy, crunchy twist.

The experimentation continues with the eggs, featuring options like Japanese tamago and eggs topped with agwa and caramelized onion.

The Bake Bar x Tehina Sohour collaboration is currently available at Leven Square Mall in New Cairo, offering diners a chance to try these unconventional takes on Egyptian favorites.
