February 22 — Ain Sokhna: Hollywood actor Will Smith is featured in a new promotional campaign for IL Monte Galala Marina Towers, a major coastal real estate development located in Ain Sokhna along Egypt’s Red Sea shoreline.
The teaser campaign begins with Smith’s voice expressing excitement about visiting his place at IL Monte Galala Marina Towers. The video then shows him relaxing on a beach while reading a book, before nearby individuals begin to recognize him. The clip concludes with a brief reference to the project, ahead of the official launch of the full campaign.
The campaign was launched by Tatweer Misr, one of Egypt’s leading real estate development companies. It highlights the next phase of the IL Monte Galala project and features cinematic imagery with Smith as the central figure. The promotion is part of the developer’s broader “Here Egypt” branding initiative, which aims to showcase Egyptian destinations to an international audience.
IL Monte Galala is part of a larger development valued at approximately EGP 50 billion (USD 1.05 billion). The project includes 10 mixed-use towers, residential and hotel accommodations, as well as an international marina. The Marina Towers are being positioned as one of the key highlights of the development.
Situated just over an hour from Cairo, Ain Sokhna has emerged as a popular coastal destination, particularly for weekend travel and vacation homes. Its close proximity to the capital and direct access to the Red Sea have made it a focal point for major tourism and real estate investment projects in recent years.
