In a powerful story of reunion and identity, Eslam Gomaa has reconnected with his biological family after 43 years, following a kidnapping that took place during his infancy.

Gomaa, who was abducted as a baby by a woman later identified as Aziza El Saadawy—also known as “Aziza Bint Iblis”—shared the emotional news during a live broadcast on TikTok. During the stream, he appeared alongside two of his biological brothers, marking a moment that brought decades of separation to an end.

The breakthrough came after DNA testing confirmed his origins, revealing that he belongs to a Libyan family. Through this discovery, Gomaa also learned that he has a large family, including 20 siblings.

According to details shared during the live session, Gomaa’s biological family had been living temporarily in Alexandria at the time of the kidnapping. Following the incident, the family returned to Libya, carrying the emotional impact of losing their child.

Gomaa also revealed that his birth name was Mohamed, though he has chosen to continue using the name Eslam, which he has carried throughout his life. In addition, he discovered that his actual date of birth is April 18.
