Mohamed Ramadan is expanding his business ventures beyond music and acting with the launch of his own fragrance line, MR1, beginning with a debut perfume named “Crowned.”
The Egyptian star announced that the new fragrance will officially launch from Milan, Italy, on September 22, 2026, positioning the city as the starting point for what he hopes will become an internationally competitive fragrance brand.
“Crowned” has been created as a unisex fragrance for both men and women and was developed in collaboration with French perfumer Vincent Ricord over a period of approximately two years.
The project marks another step in Ramadan’s efforts to grow the MR1 identity beyond entertainment and into consumer and lifestyle businesses.
What Is Mohamed Ramadan’s “Crowned” Perfume?
“Crowned” is the first fragrance released under Mohamed Ramadan’s MR1 brand.
Rather than naming the entire perfume company “Crowned,” Ramadan has positioned MR1 as the broader brand, with Crowned serving as its debut release.
According to Ramadan’s announcement, the perfume has been designed for both men and women, placing it within the growing unisex fragrance category.
The singer and actor said he believes the finished product can compete strongly in the international fragrance market after two years of development.
Specific fragrance notes, concentration, bottle sizes and ingredients have not yet been publicly detailed, so descriptions of how Crowned actually smells should wait until the official product information is released.

Crowned Will Launch in Milan on September 22
Ramadan has chosen Milan for the official launch of the fragrance on September 22.
The choice gives the project a distinctly international introduction rather than beginning solely with a domestic launch in Egypt.
Milan is globally associated with fashion, luxury and design, making it a fitting setting for Ramadan’s move into the lifestyle and fragrance market.
The launch also comes as Milan prepares for its major September fashion calendar, potentially giving the new brand additional visibility around the international fashion and luxury industries.
For Ramadan, who has increasingly pursued international collaborations and appearances alongside his Egyptian career, positioning Crowned from Milan appears intended to emphasize that the fragrance is being conceived as more than a celebrity product for the local market.

Who Is Vincent Ricord?
One of the more significant details behind Crowned is the involvement of Vincent Ricord, the French perfumer who worked on developing the fragrance.
Ricord comes from a family connected to the perfume industry in Grasse, France, one of the world’s most important historic centers of perfumery.
He has more than two decades of experience in the industry and has worked with fragrance houses and brands including Sisley Paris, Lalique, D’Orsay, Miller et Bertaux and Haute Fragrance Company.
His fragrance portfolio also includes creations associated with brands such as Clive Christian, Acca Kappa, Maison Mataha and Les Liquides Imaginaires.
Ricord has also previously taught at the École Supérieure du Parfum in Paris, adding an established industry background to the collaboration.
That makes Crowned more than a fragrance carrying Ramadan’s name alone: the perfume has been developed with an experienced professional perfumer behind its composition.

Crowned Took Two Years to Develop
Ramadan says the project was not created overnight.
According to his announcement, Ricord spent approximately two years working on Crowned before the fragrance reached its final form.
Ramadan said he was particularly pleased by Ricord’s confidence that they had managed to create a fragrance capable of appealing to both men and women while competing internationally.
That two-year development period suggests MR1 is attempting to position Crowned as a considered fragrance launch rather than simply attaching a celebrity name to an existing product.
Exactly where the fragrance will be manufactured, however, has not yet been publicly confirmed in the announcement.

Why Is the First Fragrance Called “Crowned”?
The name “Crowned” feels closely connected to Mohamed Ramadan’s public image.
Throughout his music career, Ramadan has repeatedly built his branding around ideas of being “Number One,” success, ambition and confidence.
“Crowned” naturally extends that identity into the fragrance market while giving the product a name that can function internationally without translation.
That connection between the perfume’s name and Ramadan’s established image may help distinguish MR1 from celebrity fragrances that are positioned separately from the artist’s existing identity.
The branding also fits with the wider MR1 name, which has increasingly become attached to Ramadan’s ventures outside entertainment.
MR1 Is Expanding Beyond Music
The fragrance announcement arrives at a time when Ramadan is becoming increasingly active outside acting and music.
Only days before announcing Crowned, he also revealed plans for his first major ventures in real estate and hospitality, including the proposed MR1 Hotel and Giza Downtown projects.
Ramadan said several locations in Cairo and Giza are being considered for those developments, including the former Giza Security Directorate site.
Taken together, the hotel and fragrance announcements suggest that MR1 is evolving from a nickname and personal brand into a broader commercial identity.
Fragrance is particularly suited to that expansion because it sits at the intersection of celebrity, luxury, fashion and lifestyle.
Celebrity Fragrances Are a Major Business
Ramadan is joining a long tradition of musicians and actors moving into fragrance.
Globally, artists have used perfumes to extend their personal brands into products audiences can experience outside music, television or cinema.
The most successful examples eventually develop identities that stand partly independently of the celebrity behind them.
For MR1, that will likely depend on more than Ramadan’s fame.
Crowned will ultimately have to compete on its scent, performance, presentation, pricing and distribution — particularly if the goal is genuinely to compete in the international perfume market.
Working with an established French perfumer gives the project additional credibility, but the consumer response will become clearer only after people can actually experience the fragrance.
How Much Will Crowned Cost?
For now, several major commercial details remain under wraps.
Ramadan has not publicly announced the official price of Crowned, nor has a complete list of countries, retailers or online platforms where it will initially be sold been confirmed.
The fragrance’s notes and full technical specifications have also not been released in the announcements currently available.
Those details could be revealed closer to the Milan launch on September 22.
It is therefore better to avoid reported prices, scent notes or availability claims until MR1 officially publishes them.
Mohamed Ramadan Takes MR1 Into a New Industry
For years, MR1 has been closely tied to Mohamed Ramadan’s “Number One” persona.
Now he appears to be transforming that branding into something larger.
Crowned introduces MR1 into the fragrance industry, while his recently announced hospitality and property ventures suggest the name could eventually cover several categories beyond entertainment.
The first major test comes on September 22 in Milan, when Crowned makes its official debut.
With a two-year development process, an experienced French perfumer and a unisex positioning, Ramadan is presenting the fragrance as an attempt to enter the international market rather than simply launch another piece of celebrity merchandise.
Whether MR1 can establish itself as a serious fragrance label will become clearer after the launch, but Crowned represents Mohamed Ramadan’s most direct move yet into the global beauty and luxury lifestyle space.
