Forever Is Now 06 Returns to the Pyramids of Giza From November 4 to 28, 2026

Art D’Égypte’s internationally recognized contemporary art exhibition Forever Is Now is returning to the Pyramids of Giza for its sixth edition, running from November 4 to 28, 2026.

The annual exhibition once again places contemporary art in direct conversation with one of the world’s most iconic archaeological sites, bringing artists from Egypt and abroad to the 4,500-year-old Giza Plateau.

A Sixth Edition at the Pyramids

Since its launch, Forever Is Now has transformed the Giza Plateau into an open-air contemporary art space, inviting artists to create site-specific works inspired by Egypt’s ancient heritage.

The 2026 edition will feature artists from Egypt, France, the United States, China, the UK and Jamaica, continuing the exhibition’s focus on cultural exchange and global artistic dialogue.

This year, the exhibition will explore the relationship between humanity, architecture and the natural world, using the Pyramids’ geometry, celestial alignment and historic symbolism as points of departure for new contemporary works.

A Female-Led Edition

One of the biggest changes in Forever Is Now 06 is its focus on female artistic voices.

For the first time in the exhibition’s history, the sixth edition will be primarily led by women artists, bringing new perspectives to the Giza Plateau and its centuries-old cultural legacy.

The works are expected to include monumental installations and site-specific pieces that respond directly to the landscape, architecture and history surrounding the Pyramids.

Ancient Heritage Meets Contemporary Art

The exhibition approaches the Giza Plateau not simply as a historical monument, but as a living cultural space that continues to inspire new interpretations.

Artists will engage with ideas including spatial order, memory, cosmology, craftsmanship and continuity, using contemporary materials and techniques to create a dialogue between ancient knowledge and the present day.

That contrast has become the defining identity of Forever Is Now: modern installations set against structures that have stood for thousands of years.

Art D’Égypte Continues Its Cultural Mission

The exhibition is organized by Art D’Égypte, founded by curator Nadine Abdel Ghaffar.

The organization has built its reputation around exhibitions that connect Egyptian heritage sites with contemporary art, with Forever Is Now becoming its most internationally visible project. Art D’Égypte describes the Giza exhibition as the first and largest contemporary art event of its kind staged at the Pyramids.

The wider goal is to position Egypt as an active part of the global contemporary art scene while giving international audiences a new way to experience the country’s ancient monuments.

When and Where Is Forever Is Now 06?

Forever Is Now 06 will take place at the Pyramids of Giza from November 4 through November 28, 2026.

Further details about the participating artists, individual installations and visitor information are expected to be revealed as the opening approaches.

For its sixth edition, Forever Is Now once again brings together two very different timelines: contemporary creativity and one of humanity’s oldest surviving architectural landscapes.

At the Pyramids, the past is not simply the backdrop — it becomes part of the artwork itself.
