Tatweer Misr and Vogue Arabia Unveil Athinio by D-Bay With Naomi Campbell at North Coast Event

Tatweer Misr and Vogue Arabia brought together fashion, music, culture and luxury living on Egypt’s North Coast with an exclusive event at D-Bay on August 13, 2026.

The evening marked the official unveiling of Athinio by D-Bay, the development’s newest premium beachfront neighbourhood, while global fashion icon Naomi Campbell headlined the celebration with a special DJ set.

Naomi Campbell Takes Over the Decks

Naomi Campbell was the main attraction of the night, stepping behind the decks for a DJ performance against the Mediterranean coastline.

She was joined by Egyptian electronic acts Gawdat and A Drop, turning the evening into a mix of fashion event, music experience and lifestyle showcase. Vogue Arabia described the event as a celebration of music, fashion and culture, with guests arriving from across the region’s creative and entertainment industries.

The appearance marked Campbell’s first time in Egypt in this specific DJ role, adding an international spotlight to the North Coast event.

A Star-Studded Guest List

The red carpet brought together a wide range of Arab celebrities, designers, artists and cultural figures.

Among the attendees were Hend Sabry, Amina Khalil, Dorra Zarrouk, Ghada Abdel Razek, Mohamed Farrag, Passant Shawky, Nelly Karim, Yasmina El Abd, Balqees Fathi, Farrah El Dibany, Amir El-Masry, Dalia Shawky, Hilda Khalife, Lojain Omran and Mounaz Abdel Raouf of OKHTEIN.

Fashion played a major role throughout the night, with several guests appearing in looks by regional and international designers. Ghada Abdel Razek’s off-white Nour Azazy look, for example, became one of the event’s most talked-about fashion moments.

Athinio by D-Bay Makes Its Debut

While the event had a strong fashion and entertainment focus, it also served as the official introduction of Athinio by D-Bay.

Tatweer Misr describes Athinio as the latest premium beachfront neighbourhood within D-Bay, built around a contemporary Mediterranean lifestyle. The concept includes low-rise residences, landscaped areas, a large lagoon, pedestrian-focused streets, a boutique hotel, restaurants, cafés and retail spaces.

According to Retail & Leisure International, Athinio is also positioned as the final residential release within D-Bay, making its unveiling an important milestone for the North Coast development.

Fashion, Culture and Real Estate Meet on the North Coast

The collaboration between Tatweer Misr and Vogue Arabia reflects how Egypt’s North Coast has increasingly evolved beyond a seasonal beach destination.

Large-scale summer events now regularly combine fashion, music, hospitality, design and entertainment, turning Sahel into a wider lifestyle destination for both local and regional audiences.

At D-Bay, the partnership used fashion and culture to introduce a new real estate chapter rather than relying on a traditional property launch. That approach placed Athinio within a broader lifestyle context, with the event designed to show how the development connects residential living with dining, leisure, music and social experiences.

A New Kind of North Coast Launch

Produced by Blue Experience, the evening was built as an immersive experience rather than a standard launch event.

The venue included sculptural installations, a dedicated Vogue Arabia lounge, a raised DJ deck and multiple event zones, while curated welcome gifts and branded details extended the experience beyond the main venue.

By bringing Naomi Campbell, Vogue Arabia and a major regional guest list to D-Bay, Tatweer Misr positioned the Athinio launch as one of the summer’s most high-profile lifestyle events.

For Egypt’s North Coast, the night was another sign of how fashion, culture and entertainment are becoming increasingly central to the way major destinations introduce themselves to audiences.
